Alana Kimberly Stewart (born 21 August 1979, Holmby Hills, California) is an American socialite, fashion model and fashion designer and the daughter of Rod Stewart.

Biography

She is the daughter of rock star Rod Stewart and his first wife Alana Stewart. She has an older half brother Ashley Hamilton from her mother's marriage to George Hamilton. She has one full brother, Sean Stewart. She also has four younger half siblings from her father Rod Stewart: Ruby (whose mother is Kelly Emberg); Renee and Liam (whose mother is Rachel Hunter); and Alistair (whose mother is Penny Lancaster).

A daughter of a former model, Stewart always wanted to follow her mother's footsteps. She attended a modeling school before being hired by Tommy Hilfiger Company. In spring 2007, Stewart was seen as the face of two high-profile campaigns; the British Optician chain "Specsavers" and most notoriously Michelle Mone's "Ultimo" Lingerie line.

Television career

Stewart's acting debut was a guest role on the series "Undeclared" in 2002. She has also appeared on MTV's "Cribs" and in many episodes of the hit reality show "The Osbournes", featured heavily in an episode of "E! True Hollywood Story" with her father. She was a regular on "Celebrities Uncensored" and has been a co-host on "The Insider".

In 2007 she featured in her own reality show, "Living with Kimberly Stewart", aired on Living TV in the UK and appeared in "Sons Of Hollywood".

Music

Stewart, who plays violin and the piano was approached by a producer in 2005, and after doing some test-runs in a studio, has since been taking singing lessons. Personal life

Stewart's romantic life has been the subject of many press and television tabloids. Most notably she had a relationship with singer Cisco Adler. Stewart got a tattoo reading "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Cisco", which, after their breakup, she changed to "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Disco". After an apperance on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, she added the letters "unts" after the word Disco to make the tattoo say "Daddy's Little Girl Loves Discounts" after Simon Amstell said about how she should change it.

As well as coming from a rich and well known family, Stewart is well-known in US tabloids for her many celebrity-friendships, including Paris and Nicky Hilton, Courtney Love, Anna Nicole Smith, Kelly Osbourne, Lindsay Lohan, Bijou Phillips, Jack Osbourne, Bai Ling, Kim Kardashian and Caroline D'Amore.

Paris Hilton and Stewart have topped People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) year-end Worst Dressed poll in early 2005. The two were named among the five worst fashion offenders due to their "tacky affinity for fur".

Health

After her modelling school graduation she had breast implants. She later had them removed, and sent them to Jack Osbourne who hung them on his bathroom wall. [cite episode
