Alex Kingsbury

Alex Kingsbury is an American journalist who writes about national and international news for U.S. News & World Report magazine. An associate editor, he has written cover stories about the Iraq war, college accountability, trends in E-learning, and World War II history. He reported stories from Baghdad, Iraq in 2007 and 2008.

Kingsbury received a bachelor’s in history from George Washington University and a Master’s in journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He is a native of Maine.

He has appeared frequently on national television, including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, CBS’s Up to the Minute, CNN’s American Morning, CNN Headline News, C-SPAN’s Washington Journal, FOX News Channel’s Studio B with Shepard Smith.
