(1962)"Roses Are Red (My Love)" is a popular song, recorded by Bobby Vinton, that was a number-one song in the United States during the year 1962. It topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on July 15, 1962, and remained there for four weeks. The recording was his first hit. He found the song in a reject pile at Epic Records.
