Unsurprisingly, most Norwich managers (xx/xx) have been English, but a notable minority have been Scots, dating from the very start....
xxx men have returned for a second spell as Norwich manager, most recently Gary Megson whose first spell was as caretaker, and also fulfilled roles as a player and an assistant manager at the club. Mike Walker's two spells ended very differently; success in the Premiership and UEFA Cup led to him being approached to be Everton boss. After his second spell, he left football...

Norman Low andGeorge Swindin won 50% of their games (see below), in 2002, [Updated in 2006] as part of Norwich City's centenary celebrations, the Eastern Daily Press assessed Norwich's managers by awarding three points for each win and one point per draw. The paper acknowledged the deficiencies of this rough and ready comparison between eras; regarding the highly placed Norman Low, they wrote "It’s only fair to point out that the Canaries never managed to get out of Division Three South during his stewardship", while for Ron Saunders, ranked 11th, "he ... spent the majority of his time rubbing shoulders with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal").
