Spiderworld is a band started in 2001 by Dutchman Jim Reijers.In 2003, [http://www.voskat.net/laura Laura Martín Cascón] from Valencia (Spain) joined him.

Jim draws influences from bands like The Cure, Joy Division, Cocteau Twins and Strawberry Switchblade; the apocalyptic folk of Death In June and Current 93; and by a variety of other bands, such as the The Flaming Lips, Spinvis and the Stone Roses.

A fifteen-track debut album ("Four Of Us On June Lake") was released through the duo's own Fleurs Arctiques label.

Spiderworld are currently working on their second album, "The Fields".
