Ioannis Drymonakos (born January 18, 1984) is a Greek swimmer from Athens [cite web|url=http://www.europeanchampionships.org/Eindhoven2008/docs/200-Fly-M.pdf|title=200-Fly-M|publisher=LEN|date=31 March 2008|accessdate=2008-03-31] . He became the first ever Greek swimmer to hold a European swimming record by clocking a time of 1:54.16 seconds in 200m butterfly event of the European LC Championships 2008 final on March 21, 2008 [cite web|url=http://www.europeanchampionships.org/Eindhoven2008/?pag=PRESS|title=The ’Day of the Greeks’|publisher=LEN|date=31 March 2008|accessdate=2008-03-31] .

He tested positive for banned drugs during a doping-control test.
