Fereydun Adamiyat or Fereidoon Adamiyat (
Tehran 1920 - March 29, 2008) (PerB|فریدون آدمیت) was a leadingsocial historian of contemporaryIran and particularly theQajar era. He was the son ofAbbasquli Adamiyat , a pioneer of theIranian Constitutional Revolution . Believing firmly in history's "Rational Movement " (PerB|حرکت عقلی, harekat-e aqli), Adamiyat saw no conflict between normative judgement and claims toobjectivity .
