Genzebe Dibaba

Genzebe Dibaba (born August 8, 1991 in Bekoji, Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian distance runner. She is the sister of World Champion Tirunesh Dibaba and Olympic silver medallist Ejegayehu Dibaba, and the cousin of former Olympic champion Derartu Tulu. Genzebe won the junior women's title at the 2008 IAAF World Cross Country Championships [ [http://www.iaaf.org/WXC08/news/kind=108/newsid=44235.html Junior Women's Race Report - Edinburgh 2008] . "IAAF.org". 30 March 2008] and finished fifth in the same event in 2007. She also competes in IAAF Golden League meetings. At the 2008 Bislett Games in Oslo, she recorded a personal best time of 15:02.41 in the 5000 metres, during the same race where her sister Tirunesh set a new world record.
