Dr. Ross Tilley Public School is a school in Bowmanville, Ontario. It is named after the plastic surgeon Dr. Albert Ross Tilley. Also at the school is the Dr Ross Tilley YMCA and Daycare Centre.
General information
Dr. Ross Tilley Public School is an elementary school from grades JK-8. The school was built in 1996 making it 12 years old in architectural design. The school's students are hard-working, and multiply to a big amount of 700 students and counting! The Principal Peter Bischoff and Vice-Principal is Marguerite Masterson have been working diligently to make the school a fun environment for kids of the K-8 ages. It has a bench on its front yard in honour of Jean A. Tiley, the late plastic surgeons wife who died a few years ago. She had visited the school several times and bought pizza for the entire school a few times.

Dr. Ross Tilley Public School has entered in a challenge to raise $6,000 to help build a school in Kenya. This challenge started in 2006-2007, and has ended in 2007-2008, on March 20, 2008. We have been very happy that this has happened, and, to please us even more, we have passed that price needed, and have raised $6,600!Fact|date=June 2008
Tilleyfest
Tilleyfest is an event that happens near the end of the school year in June that has fun stuff to do. The year 2008 had: Nascar, Guitar Hero, Jumping Castles, and food. We also had fun baskets, where all of the classrooms chose a theme,Fact|date=June 2008
Extra Curriculum
Tilley offers extra cirriculum including sports like badminton, basketball, three-pitch, Harrier (cross-country) and volleyball. Some of the other activities include Historica Fair, Science Fair, Team Tilley, and many other fun things to do.
