In January 1950, M.K.Vellodi, was made the Chief Minister of the State and the Nizam was designated `Raj Pramukh'. He was in the office from 26 Jan 1950 to 6 Mar 1952.
First elected Chief Minister of Hyderabad state Burgula Ramakrishna Rao worked as revenue and education minister in Vellodi's Government.
