Shanghai Electric Group Company Limited (hkex|2727) is a Chinese industrial machinery technology company headquartered in Shanghai. It was listed as #1455 on the Forbes 2000 list.

The company's activities include the design, manufacture and sale of products and provision of related services in the power equipment, electromechanical equipment, transportation equipment and environmental protection industries.

Other activities includes research and development and automation controls. The power equipment includes power generation, power transmission and power distribution equipment. The electromechanical equipment includes elevators, escalators and moving walkways, printing and packaging equipment, heavy machinery and machine tools. The transportation equipment includes rail transportation products and systems and diesel engines. Other activities includes research and development and automation controls. Operations are carried out mainly in the People's Republic of China.

Its H shares were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2005.
