Michael Forsberg is an American photographer. Many of his photographs depict landscapes and wildlife of the Great Plains. Some of his work is found in the Great Plains Art Museum of the Center for Great Plains Studies[1] at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. From the fall of 2005 to the winter of 2008 he traveled 100,000 miles in 12 states and three Canadian provinces [2] taking the photographs that work appear in Great Plains: America's Lingering Wild, published by the University of Chicago Press in 2009 (ISBN 9780226257259).
Michael Forsberg is a Fellow[3] of the International League of Conservation Photographers[4].
