Dermot Breen

Dermot Breen is a radio presenter who has worked in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States for over 20 years. He currently broadcasts on Kfm where he presents the Saturday Show from 10am to 2pm.

Dermot was born in Dublin in the Rotunda Hospital, 15th April 1965. He attended Scoil Mhuire, Marino run by the Christian Brothers. From there he attended Rosmini College in Drumcondra. He served an electrical apprenticeship with the ESB from 1982 to 1986. During this time he worked in Nova Park, providing electrical services to Nova Park & Radio.

Dermot emigrated to the UK in 1986 and worked for Bristol City Council returning to work in Ireland in 1990 where he worked with ARUP. In 1993 he joined CH2M Hill where he stayed for 10 years, some of which were spent living in the United States. He is currently a Project Manager for PM Group [http://www.pmg.ie] working on infrastructure projects in the Public Sector and Private Sector.
