Music video

The music video premiered on BET's 106 & Park on April 2 2008. The video was taken from Chris Brown's 2007 and 2008 Up Close and Personal Holiday Exclusive Tour in Nashville at Sommet Center. On June 24, Chris performed a snippet of the song on the 2008 "BET Awards" with "surprise guest" Ciara although there were no vocals from her.

ong meaning

"Take You Down" is probably Chris Brown's most risque song to date, as it has extremely strong sexual undertones and lyrics. The song is basically about how he feels a strong sexual attraction to his girlfriend (therefore, he wants to "take her down"). The video is equally as risqué, as it features Brown gyrating and humping all over the stage. He is also featured taking his shirt off and revealing himself. He also suggests sexual intensity with the types of actions he applies within the routine, suggesting that he wants to pleasure his girlfriend.
