Ilkhom Theatre (Ильхом Театр Марка Вайля) is a
theatre company based inTashkent ,Uzbekistan . Founded byMark Weil (Марк Яковлевич Вайль) in 1976, it was the first independent theatre in theSoviet Union , and remains self-supporting to this day.
