Fakenham West railway station was a station in
Norfolk . It was built as part of theMidland and Great Northern Joint Railway main line that meandered acrossNorfolk fromKing's Lynn to a number of coastal destinations. [British Railways Atlas.1947. p.18] It was closed in1959 .The town once served by two stations on separate lines.
Fakenham East railway station was on the Great Eastern route betweenWells-on-Sea andWymondham .
