Rocky LaPorte

Rocky LaPorte

With a unique accent and very funny yet warm delivery, Rocky LaPorte is becoming more popular by the day. His appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" rendered a standing ovation. He has been featured on his "Comedy Central Presents" which is currently running on Comedy Central.

Rocky's popularity continues to get stronger. After Tim Allen watched Rocky on The Tonight Show, he claimed Rocky as his "favorite new comic" and brought him on to play in his movie, "The Shaggy Dog".

Rocky visited Iraq with Drew Carey and the trip became a Showtime movie called "Patriot Act: a Jeffrey Ross Home Movie" which played on Showtime. In addition, Rocky's standup will be featured in "Godfathers of Comedy".

In April 2008 a DVD titled "The Rocky LaPorte Show" was sent to test audiences. The DVD contained a 30 minute sitcom pilot starring Rocky LaPorte. The test audiences were told that they were reviewing a potential new TV show; however, the actual motive behind the research was to gather feedback on the commercials presented in the DVD.
