Patrick Herrera (born August 16, 1990) is a multilingual music producer and choreographer. Patrick was born in Toronto Ontario to a Filipino father and a Japanese mother. Patrick is the oldest of five children, and moved to Tokyo Japan in October 1990. Patrick began his career in Tokyo Japan as a solo artist after he was auditioned for Sony Music Japan in June 2003, and selected out of 30,000 people to sing the opening theme song for Rumiko Takahashi’s anime series InuYasha. After living in Japan for over 15 years, Patrick and his family moved back to Canada, where he still produces and choreographs. Patrick latest works include producing and choreographing Janet Jackson's Feedback (song), producing Nami Tamaki's Promise, and co-choreographing the movie Step Up 2. He is also the founder of Kababayan Records.

Career

Patrick stopped singing altogether and focused all of his energy towards producing and choreographing for Japans new and growing artists.

Producing and Choreographing

Patrick and Nami Tamaki grew close and started working together to produce her sophomore album “Make Progress”, and her third studio album “Specialty”. Patrick also helped to create her first Best (Greatest Hits) album “My Graduation”. Patrick is currently working with Nami to produce her fourth studio album “Don't Stay (album)".

Patrick is currently working with Nami Tamaki, Janet Jackson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Lupe Fiasco, by producing and choreographing for their new singles and albums. After being pushed back many time, "Her Name Is Nicole", the debut album by Nicole Scherzinger is being re-recorded with the help of Patrick, and the new release date is set for May 5, 2008.
