Mark Frye (born 1957) is a two-time Emmy Award winning musician and composer. He was signed to Virgin Records in 1996.[1] He is also the great-grandson of West Virginia Oil Baron J. S. Pridemore. Frye currently resides in Columbus, Ohio.

Frye is part of the highly successful nostalgia group, Phil Dirt and the Dozers. His work as a commercial musician is extensive, ranging from writing the original Safe Auto commercials, to writing music for Jack Hanna's documentaries, for which he won his Emmy's.
