Özal family

one of the most important families of Turkey, was founded by Turgut Özal.The family has been effective in the political world of Turkey since the 1970s. The family has produced 1 president,1 prime minister,3 ministers and 2 parliament members to this day.The former president Turgut Özal opened up Turkey's gates to the world. He was popular in the country and was the founder of the political group the Motherland Party. In 1993, after losing his life he was preceded by his son Ahmet Özal.[1][2]

Politics

Other than Turgut Özal, one of the best politicians in Turkey the family's other politician Ahmet Özal remained in the Parliament until 2001. The other son Efe Özal preferred to stay out of politics and stay in the business industry.

The grandson of Turgut Özal and the son of Efe Özal; Turgut Kaan Özal, who was born right after the day Turgut Özal was buried briefly said in an interview that he was and still is interested in politics and wants to follow in his grandfather's footsteps.[3]
