Melinda Estes Nationality American Occupation Physician, executive Melinda Estes is a neuropathologist and president and chief executive of the Fletcher Allen Health Care corporation, based in Burlington, Vermont. She previously served as the chief executive of the Cleveland Clinic Florida for three years. [1] On June 24th, 2011 she announced that she would be leaving Fletcher Allen to become chief executive of the Saint Luke's Health System in Kansas City, Missouri.[2][3]

Education
Estes graduated from high school in Victoria, Texas. She has a bachelors of science degree from Sam Houston State University, a medical doctorate from University of Texas Medical Branch and a masters of business administration from Case Western Reserve University.[1] In addition, she was named a Distinguished Alumnus of Sam Houston State in October 2007.
Career
In addition to having served as the chief executive of the Cleveland Clinic Florida and her appointment to Fletcher Allen Health Care, Estes has worked previously as director of business development at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland and executive vice president and chief of staff at the MetroHealth corporation - also in Cleveland.
