- Aref Ali Nayed
Aref Ali Nayed is Director of the
Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center inAmman ,Jordan . He studied Engineering (B.Sc.(Eng.)), Philosophy of Science (M.A.), and Hermeneutics (Ph.D.) at theUniversity of Iowa and theUniversity of Guelph . He also studied, as a special student, at theUniversity of Toronto and thePontifical Gregorian University . He is a Former Professor at thePontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (Rome), and theInternational Institute for Islamic Thought and Civilization (Malaysia). He is currently an Advisor to theCambridge Interfaith Program at the Faculty of Divinity inCambridge , and runs a family business as the Managing Director of Agathon Systems Ltd. (IBM, Nortel and NCR Partner for Libya). He is one of the key Islamic scholars responsible forA Common Word , a document of historical importance in the dialogue between Muslims and Christians.External links
