Graham Alan Cray

Graham Alan Cray is the current Bishop of Maidstone [Crockford's On-line Accessed 8th June 2008 17:59] and Bishop for Mission in the Diocese of Canterbury. Born on 21 April 1947 Cray was educated at Leeds University [Who’s Who 2008 (London, A & C Black, 2008 ISBN 9780713672576] and St John's College, Nottingham before beginning his career with a curacy at "St Mark's Church, Gillingham" [ [http://www.stmarkschurchgillingham.co.uk/ Church Web-Site] ] . Cray later spent fourteen years at St Michael-le-Belfry in York (at first working with, and later succeeding, the Revd Canon David Watson [http://www.essentialchristian.com/product_info.php?products_id=22513] ) before becoming Principal of Ridley Hall theological college in Cambridge [ Debrett's People of Today London, Debrett's, 2008 ISBN 9781870520959] , and later the Bishop of Maidstone in 2001. s-start
