FSN Kansas City is a regional sports network serving the Kansas City region. Originally a sub-feed of FSN Midwest, the network became FSN Kansas City in 2008 as a result of a new long-term broadcast agreement with Major League Baseball's Kansas City Royals. FSN Kansas City was created to avoid conflicts with St. Louis Cardinals coverage, which remains on FSN Midwest. FSN Kansas City televised 140 Royals games during the 2008 regular season, its first full baseball season on the air. FSN Kansas City also produces Royals Live pre-game and post-game shows and Royals Insider.
