Susan Lark

Dr. Susan M. Lark (born 1946) is an American physician, an authority in the fields of clinical nutrition and preventive medicine. She aims to educate and empower women regarding their health, giving them choices so they can take control of their own health. Lark advocates a holistic approach that favors safe, natural alternatives over toxic drugs and surgery.


An eminent authority on clinical nutrition and preventive medicine, Dr. Lark is an expert on women’s health and the use of alternative medicine therapies for menopause, perimenopause, fatigue [ [ “Power Surge Conference With Dr. Susan Lark”] ] , hypertension and more. A graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. Lark served on the clinical faculty of Stanford University Medical School from 1981-1983, and taught in Stanford's Primary Care Associate Program in the Division of Family and Community Medicine from 1991-2002.

Dr. Lark is a distinguished clinician, author, lecturer and innovative product developer. Her most recent books are "Eat Papayas Naked" and "Hormone Revolution", which she co-authored with Kimberly Day.

From her extensive research, Dr. Lark has authored 13 books, including nine self-help books to assist women in understanding key health issues such as menopause, perimenopause, PMS, fatigue and others. In addition, she has developed an alliance with Doctors' Preferred, Inc. (DPI), to manufacture and distribute her own comprehensive line of women's nutritional products based on the protocols she has successfully used to treat her patients.
