Jaipur in 1776. MaharajJawahar Singh ofBharatpur was leading an army on his way back fromPushkar when the forces ofSawai Raja Madho Singhji of Jaipur met them nearMaonda andMandholi villages close to present dayNeem Ka Thana . Over 25000 soldiers were slain in this battle and caused heavy casualties on both sides. Many Rajputs and Jats were slain in this battle. It is one of the last battles fought under the Jaipur rule, before English started to rule present dayIndia .References
