Konstantinos Kotsiopoulos (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Κωτσιόπουλος"Italic text") (born in
Athens ,Central Greece ) is aLecturer ofPastoral Theology at the "Aristotle University of Thessaloniki". From 1993 to 2005 he was teaching theology, sociology and history at "Greek College of Thessaloniki" High School; In 1995 he became aDoctor of Pastoral and Social Theology. The aim of his PhD was "TheZealot movement ofThessaloniki (1342 - 1349)"."In 2005 he became an lecturer ofSociology of Christianity at the Department of Pastoral Theology of theAristotle University of Thessaloniki in the Faculty mentioned above. He also runs and directsPostgraduate students , expertising Sociology of Christianity He wrote several books such as "Orthodoxy and Europe"(="Ορθοδοξία και Ευρώπη"), "Orthodoxy and globalization"(="Ορθοδοξία και Παγκοσμιοποίηση" a.o.), "Sports and Olympism (="Αθλητισμός και Ολυμπισμός") and others. Plenty of articles written by him have been published in magazines, scientific journals and newspapers.Memberships
