Roger Connah (born
Cheshire 1950 ), is a British architectural historian and critic, who has specialized inFinnish architecture and society. He has written numerous books on Finnish architecture, in particular on the life and works ofReima and Raili Pietilä .Connah studied architecture at
Bristol University andJesus College, Cambridge . In 1974 he moved to Finland to study the work of Pietilä; he worked in the Pietiläs' office inHelsinki , while also teaching atUniversity of Jyväskylä andHelsinki University , until 1990, when he moved toStockholm .
