Giorgos Karagoutis ( _el. Γιώργος Καράγκουτης) (born
February 15 ,1976 inGreece ), is a Greek professionalbasketball player. He started his career withPanionios BC at the age of 16. He was a Greek Cup finalist in 1995 and in 1998 he was aKorac Cup semi finalist withPanionios BC .In 1999, he moved to
Panathinaikos BC and he won theEuroleague Championship with them in 2000. In the subsequent years he played forIraklis BC (2000-01),Near East BC (2001-02), andMaroussi BC . WithMaroussi BC he won the second place in the regular season of the Greek Championship and he was a Greek Cup finalist with Maroussi in 2006. Giorgos Karagoutis also played for the Greek national basketball team at the Mundobasket 1998 (4th place) and at theEurobasket 1999 (4th place).External links
