Tzanis Stavrakopoulos ( _el. Τζαννής Σταυρακόπουλος ) (born
October 30th ,1971 inAthens ) is a Greek professionalbasketball player.He started his career at the age of 16 with Asteras Ampelokipon. He led the team from the local ESKA category to the A1 professional Greek League. [http://www.euroleague.net/news/i/10541/180/item#...AND] In 1995, he moved to
Panathinaikos BC and he won theEuroleague Championship with them in 1996. The next year he played forAris BC and he won theKorac Cup with them.In the 1997-1998 season he played for Le Mans and one year later he played for
Panionios BC . He also played forDafni BC , Ionikos Neas Filadelfias BC,Panionios BC (twice), andPeristeri BC (in the Greek A2 League). Tzanis Stavrakopoulos also played with the Greek national team at theEurobasket 1995 .External links
