Langley Aerodrome (aircraft)
- Langley Aerodrome (aircraft)
The Langley Aerodrome was an experimental aircraft commissioned by the United States Army from Samuel Langley for US$50,000 in 1898. The project was initiated before sustained and controlled heavier-than-air flight had been achieved but the success of the Wright Flyer preceded any successful flight of the Aerodrome. [cite book
