Samson Technologies

Samson Technologies is an audio production conglomerate that is made up of the following companies or elements:

* Hartke Systems
* Samson Audio
* Samson Wireless
* Zoom Corporation

Samson began over 25 years ago as an audio technology company designing wireless microphone systems. Today, Samson is an industry leader with three distinct and diverse brands: Samson, Hartke and Zoom. Over 350 products designed and distributed by Samson are sold in 106 countries throughout the world.

Samson's position as an innovator and leading audio technology company has produced a variety of industry-changing audio products. It has also provided Samson with the experience to create versatile products that have the ability to crossover from the pro audio and music segments to the consumer market.

Over the years, Samson has pioneered a number of technical breakthroughs in wireless such as the incorporation of dbx Noise Reduction, synthesized wireless with selectable frequencies, the first 19-inch rackmount receiver, microprocessor-controlled true diversity (dual receiver) designs as well as cost-effective UHF wireless for live sound, system contracting and video applications. Samson was also the first company to introduce micro-transmitter wireless systems that don't require beltpacks: The AirLine System.

With Hartke Systems, groundbreaking innovation first came from this American bass amp and cabinet manufacturer with their unique aluminum cone drivers. Samson Technologies is now the exclusive world-wide distributor of Hartke amplifiers, cabinets, combos and accessories. Hartke's innovative nature continues to this day with the release of their revolutionary HyDrive cabinets and combos, which fuse paper and aluminum cones in a pioneering speaker design that offers the warm tone of traditional paper cones as well as the punchy, articulate attack of aluminum.

In 2005, Samson began production on a line of USB microphones that brought a whole new level of convenience to the world of digital home recording. Now the industry standard and top selling USB microphones on the market, the Q1U, C01U, C03U and G-Track provide a professional and affordable solution to anyone wishing to enter the latest trends in new media like podcasting, electronic news gathering and personal recording.

As the exclusive U.S. distributor for Zoom, Samson is also a leading design and development partner for products like the legendary 505 guitar effects processor. More recently, in partnership with Zoom, Samson has launched the H4 Handy Recorder--a multi-purpose handheld recorder that functions as a stereo field recorder, a multi-track recorder and an audio interface--as well as its little brother, the H2, which has quickly become one of the most popular handheld recorders on the market. Taking ease-of-use and portability to a new level, these digital recorders have worked as yet another milestone for Zoom and Samson's technological innovation.

Over more than two decades, Samson has grown from a small two-person operation to a multinational enterprise with over 100 employees and a 126,000 square foot facility that doubles as a corporate and distribution headquarters. With revolutionary audio equipment from every brand, along with a remarkable variety of products and accessories, Samson Technologies expects its phenomenal growth to continue for many years, with exceptional innovation always on the horizon.
