Steven Alfred Hill (born April 26, 1978) is an American reality television personality, model, guest speaker, author, and occasional actor. Hill is best known as a cast member on the twelfth season of "The Real World", MTV's highly rated reality TV show.

Biography

Early life

Hill was born in San Marcos, Texas, but was raised predominantly in Austin, and considers Austin to be his hometown. He has one brother and a sister. Hill developed his sense of comedy in his later childhood and adolescence in response to the stress of constant relocation and domestic issues. At the age of 16, Hill left home and became emancipated. He went to the University of Texas at Austin and majored in business. To support himself through college, Hill worked as a shirtless bartender in a popular gay club, and modeled part-time. Towards the latter days of his collegiate career, Hill married a woman who hasn't been identified publicly.

"Real World: Las Vegas"

Hill's marriage failed by the time he was selected by MTV to appear in the 12th season of the "Real World" reality series. On the first episode, he met fellow castmates Brynn and Trishelle Cannatella for a three way makeout session in the hot tub. Hill's dramatic relationship with Cannatella, along with his dynamic fight with Brynn, would help to garner MTV high ratings. The relationship would fizzle after a dramatic pregnancy scare.

Post "Real World"

After "The Real World" ended, Hill appeared in several subsequent MTV shows, including various "Real World/Road Rules Challenges", "", and was the host of "Say What? Karaoke" for a season.

Personal life

In 2007, Hill married designer Donna Katz. They welcomed their first child, son Riley James David, in April 2008.
