Antonios Eparchos

Antonios Eparchos (b.1491-d.1571) was a Greek Renaissance humanist, soldier and poet.

He was born in Corfu and migrated to Venice in 1537. [Sandys, John Edwin, "A History of Classical Scholarship". 1958, p.355] Later he was placed in charge of the Greek college of Milan.
