Randy Galloway

Randy Galloway is the host of "Galloway and Company", the drive-time program on KESN 103.3 FM, ESPN Radio's Dallas affiliate and also heard on ESPN Xtra on XM Radio. He is also a columnist for the "Ft. Worth Star-Telegram".

Previously, Galloway has been a columnist for "The Dallas Morning News" and a radio host for News/Talk 820 WBAP. In 1998, he left the "The Dallas Morning News" after 31 years, accepting a 5-year, $1.5 million contract with the "Ft. Worth Star-Telegram" [http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa3862/is_199810/ai_n8827450] .

At times, he has claimed to have been a journalism major at Sam Houston State University and a math major at Rice University, as well as playing hockey on "the frozen Trinity River."

Listeners have become accustomed to Galloway's trademark wit and sarcasm as well as his deep Texas drawl.

On Friday, December 16, 2006, Galloway paid former Dallas Cowboys' quarterback Quincy Carter's $500 bail after Carter was arrested on marijuana charges. [http://www.statesman.com/sports/content/sports/stories/other/12/16/16sptmakers.html?cxtype=rss&cxsvc=7&cxcat=54]

Galloway broadcast his 5000th show April 11, 2008, celebrated by KESN in a day-long promotion. President George W. Bush called in as a special guest and congratulated Randy on his 5,000th show. Bush also invited Galloway to the Oval Office.

Galloway lives in Grand Prairie, Texas with his wife Janeen. They have two daughters together. He enjoys Lone Star Park and owns horses.
