The 36 is a bus service operated by Harrogate & District running between Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds. The service was introduced in 2004 at a cost of £2.25 million. Fleet

The fleet consists of 12 Volvo B7TL double-decker vehicles with a Wright Eclipse Gemini body equipped with spacious leather seats. All of the fleet has a unique red and black paintwork with the "36" logo.

Route

The route commences at either Ripon or Harrogate Bus Station and terminates at Leeds City Bus Station, running via Pannal, Harewood, Alwoodley, Moortown and Chapel Allerton. At peak times on weekdays, journeys also run via the Headrow and Leeds City Square.

Frequency

Mondays to Fridays

During the day journeys run every 20 minutes between Ripon and Leeds; at peak times this increases to every 10 minutes between Harrogate and Leeds. In the evenings the frequency reduces to once every hour.

Weekends

On Saturdays buses run every twenty minutes during the day and every hour in the evening. A half-hourly Sunday service is provided.
