Neuburg Peak in southwestDufek Massif ,Pensacola Mountains . Mapped byUnited States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys andU.S. Navy air photos, 1956-66. Named byAdvisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) forNolan B. Aughenbaugh , glaciologist atEllsworth Station , a member of the first party to visit Dufek Massif, in December 1957.
