William G. Wells

William G. Wells

William G. Wells (b. 1971) is an American writer and editor. He served as the final editor of the Southern Baptist magazine Challenge, published by the North American Mission Board, until its final printing in 2000. He then served as a contributing editor to Go! magazine, the flagship youth magazine of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is author of over 100 articles in print and online covering subjects from world religion to international politics.

Wells was born in Cleveland, Texas in 1971. He attended East Texas Baptist University from 1990-94 during which time he founded the fraternity Pi Sigma Epsilon. He received both the Outstanding Freshman Achievement Award in 1990 and the President's Award in 1994, as well as the McKinney Award for most proficient use of the English language.

Wells currently teaches English for Richland College in Dallas, Texas and Axia College of the University of Phoenix Online.
