Kolno [IPA-pl|'|k|o|l|n|o] is a town in northeastern Poland. Located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, about 150 km northeast of Warsaw, it is the capital of Kolno County. It has 10,730 inhabitants (2007). In July 1941, the entire Jewish population of Kolno was murdered by German killing squads, with the assistance of local Poles.
