Istind Peak (coord|72|6|S|2|23|W|) is a partly ice-covered
peak 1 mile (1.6 km) south ofTindeklypa , on the east side ofAhlmann Ridge inQueen Maud Land . Photographed from the air by theGerman Antarctic Expedition (1938-39). Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos byNorwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE) (1949-52) and air photos by the Norwegian expedition (1958-59) and named "Istind" (ice peak).
