Cat Rambo is a science fiction and fantasy writer and editor who lives inthe Pacific Northwest. She has been the co-editor of Fantasy Magazine since 2007. Shecollaborated with Jeff VanderMeer on The Surgeon's Tale and OtherStories, published in 2007. Her short stories have appeared in such placesas Asimov's Science Fiction, Weird Tales and Strange Horizons.

Rambo writes predominantly fantasy and science fiction, and collaborated in a round-robinwriting project for The New Weird, edited by Ann VanderMeer and Jeff VanderMeer.

A graduate of the Johns Hopkins Writing Seminars and Clarion West, she alsoworks with Armageddon MUD and writes gaming articles. Her background in technology writing includes work for Microsoft and Security Dynamics.
