Inca Point

Inca Point

Inca Point (coord|62|18|S|59|12|W|) is a point on the northwest side of Harmony Cove, Nelson Island, in the South Shetland Islands. An isolated stack off the point bears a striking resemblance to an Inca head. The name "Punta Inca" seems first to appear on a 1957 Argentine hydrographic chart. An English form of the name has been approved.
