The 13th Scottish Light Dragoons was an cavalry regiment of the Canadian Army. Originally founded in 1872 as the 79th Shefford and Brome Regiment (Highlanders), it was an amalgamated with 52nd Regiment (Brome Light Infantry) in 1901 under the 79th's name and then converted to cavalry in 1904 under its current name. The regiment sufferd heavy casualties during the First World War and was re-organized in 1921. The regiment was disbanded in 1936.
The 13th Scottish Light Dragoons wore a blue cap c/w diced border, scarlet dragoon tunic, and blue pantaloons c/w yellow stripe.
