Katherine Airfield was an airfield at Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia.

History

World War II

The civil airfield was requisitioned by Royal Australian Air Force and the 808th Engineer Aviation Battalion extended the airfield from 19 February 1942 to 13 April 1942. The runway was extended to convert|5000|ft|m long and convert|100|ft|m wide and 18 dispersals without revetments were constructed.
