Concept

PRstore was created by marketing veterans Mike and Kathy Butler to provide a one-stop-shop for all the marketing, advertising and branding needs of small business. The stores follow a business model focused on affordability -- all PR & marketing strategies are available a la carte -- and accessibility and convenience via a drop-in retail setting. History

In 2001, the first PRstore opened its doors in Charlotte, NC, offering small business owners access to marketing resources in a one-stop, retail setting. [ [http://www.prstore.com/about PRstore official website] ] PRS Franchise Systems, LLC was created in 2002 to offer PRstore® franchises to marketing and public relations professionals across the United States. [ [http://www.prstore.com/sites/franchise/about.html PRstore Franchise Systems official website] ] The national franchising program was formally launched in July 2002.In 2007, the PRstore franchise network added 20 new stores, bringing the total to 32 stores. As of March 2008, eight stores were in build-out in Charlotte, Atlanta, Chicago, Long Island, Los Angeles, and Fort Collins, Colorado.

DesignCentral

DesignCentral is PRstore's centralized production team, providing copywriting and design services to all PRstores around the country. The company's Franchise Development operations are also housed at the DesignCentral location in Charlotte. DesignCentral employed 20 marketing professionals as of March 2008.
