- Charles Stuart (still life artist)
-
For the landscape painter active between 1881 to 1904, see Charles Stuart (landscape painter).
Charles Stuart was a British still life artist who was active between 1854 and 1868.[1] Some confusion arises because there was a painter of landscapes active at the same time who was separately designated in catalogs of the Royal Academy of Arts as Charles Stuart, F.S.A. and was likely the Charles Stuart married to Jane Maria Bowkett.[2]
