Though it is located at the Lafayette Educational Campus [Lafayette High School] building. KECSS is currently working to make a high school program so students won't get transferred to another school instead. After students graduate from this school "(at high school level)", they will receive 60 free college credits.
Extended Day Periods
Extended Day Periods programs are the type of lessons that may teach students ahead and beyond the topic. If students have problems with subjects like Writing, ELA, Science, and Math they may take this course.
Enrichment Clusters
Enrichment Clusters are activities that are only on Fridays that let students be a grown up and show jobs that grown ups can do like actors,steppers,hair stylists, and even chefs. There are 3 cluster sessions each year. For the survey, there will be recommended clusters that students may choose. On the survey, students may choose 4 of the clusters that students are most interested in. The clusters change as sessions approach.
Advisory
Advisory, now known as seventh or last period, is a lesson where students get to do some fun activities. Most of the times and help them build there own persona. Advisory is not available on Fridays.
A. V. T. Squad
The A. V. T. Squad is a group of students from KECSS . AVT Squad stands for Audio, Visual, and Technical Assistance Squad. They provide technical assistance to the entire school. They also transport televisions to classrooms when a class watches a movie. Another thing they do is video tape or take photographs of special events that go on at KECSS like Town Hall Meetings or museum trips.

College Action Plan / CAP
College Action Plan, or CAP, is a lesson on Fridays that teaches students world round topics that are based on topic learned in college. As this is an early college school, this school prepares students for college by learning college lessons. There are 2 types of CAP. There is a Test-Prep CAP, which prepares students for state exams, and College-Type CAP, which gives students college lessons. Once students get used to it, they will pass college more easily and faster.
