Veerle Baetens

Veerle Baetens (January 24 1978) is a Flemish actress. She followed a musical education at the "Brusselse Hoger Instituut voor Dramatische Kunsten". She is probably best known for her roles in Sara and many Flemish movies.

In 2005 she won the "John Kraaijkamp Musical Award", in the category Leading Actress in a little musical, for her role as Pippi Longstocking in the same named Dutch musical.

In 2008 she won the Flemish TV-star Award (Flemish Emmies) for Best Actress and Most Popular TV Personalaty both for her role as Sara in Sara.
