Forty-three former North Carolina men's basketball players are honored in the
Dean E. Smith Center with banners representing their numbers hung from the rafters. Of the 43 honored jerseys, seven are retired and cannot be worn by a future North Carolina basketball player.Criteria
To be honored, a player must be named ACC Player of the Year, MVP of a National Championship-winning team, or to first- or second-team
