Bassenthwaite (TV series)

"Bassenthwaite" is a British TV show about a group of adolescence children living in a housing estate within England. It was originally broadcast from 2001 to 2002, but was brought back in 2005 and has been filmed continuously since. It currently has 7 seasons, 35 episodes.

The show is about different groups of people that come and go in a street that live day to day by entertaining themselves with anything they find interesting which can include dens, trips to the beck, tig games, stunts, races, parties, water fights, football games, trips out or even a trampoline. The show is popular for its unique characters, comical situations and events that make you laugh over and over again.

Season One

Each season onwards will contain 5 episodes each. This season is filmed mainly within small areas of the street.

* Live With Nicky - Someone breaks into a garage, so Nicky reports it like the news.
* Schools Out - Jade is mother and headmistress who looks after troubled girl, Becca.
* Stone Age - Jade is planning a sports day, which turns to the past.
* Aunt Agatha - Jade is being looked after by her horrible Aunt Agatha, Katie.
* Barbecue Blast - Barbecue party in Jade's house, which turns into a dance contest.

Season Two

This season is the last to star most of the main characters since the start. Except Rebecca, Jess and Vinny.

* Cats, Icecreams and Trips - Jess and Walker find a cat, followed by Jessica falling over.
* Tree Climbing - Everyone is climbing a tree and trying to reach the top.
* Handstands and Cartwheels - Jade teaches Walker and Jess aerobics moves.
* Horseraddish Sweets - Becca gives out sweets to Nicky, who is unaware of the flavour.
* Sellotape Trouble - Nicky makes a song up. Jess bring out sellotape, with consequences.

Season Three

The street has changed this season. So has the format and most characters. This is Andrews, Connors, Jonnys, Lauras and Eilis' 1st Season. This is Vinny's last season.

* New Friends - Becca and Jess meet and winde up there new friend 'Andrew'
* Frisbee Fun - Whilst on a trampoline, Becca and Vinny throw a frisbee over the fence.
* War of Balloons - In a water balloon fight, Becca, Vinny, Jonny and Connor gang up on Andy.
* Dead Bird - Jess, Jonny and Becca bury a dead bird. Later, Jonny nicks Vinny's bike.
* Amarillo - After, a chase game, then cat and mouse. A hyper gang dance to Is This the Way to Amarillo

Season Four

This season would prove to be the best yet. This season is filmed entirely in the summer. Shanice's, Dannys and Laura's last season.

* Bike Ride - On their bikes, Andrew and Becca argue over something silly.
* Murder Mysteries - After finding Jonny runover. Becca and Danny find themselves dealing with a killer.
* Big Brother 2005 - With no food or entertainment, housemates complain and argue.
* Andy Vs Danny - Danny pours coke over Andy, who has a saw.
* Storm on the Street - A thunderstorm heads for the street as Andy, Becca and Danny shelter inside Becca's porch.

Season Five

Jonny isnt seen for a while. Kristian, Thomas and Liam's 1st season. This is Andrew's last season.

* Umbrellas and Scooters - Becca introduces a new friend, who is hyped up.
* Snow Day - Jess and Becca play in the snow, which eventually gets into a snow fight.
* Party Party Party - Its Becca's 11th party. Including Musical Chairs
* The Den - Kristian and Andy make a den out of old junk and make strict rules for Becca.
* Racing Lunatics - After some rude stories, the gang and their new friend Tom, have races in different areas.

Season Six

Adam, Chris, Nicole and Rhys 1st season. Jonny returns.

*Beck Ballistic - Adam, Liam and Kristian go to the beck. Adam falls in and Liam swears a lot.
*Football Hooligans - Jess and Tom play football as Becca listens to music.
*Murder Mysteries 2 - A copycat killer with a mask kills everyone, unknowingly in a tig game and reveals themself to Becca with a violent outcome.
*Trampolines and Playhouses - Jess plays on Tom and Nicole's trampoline and then in their outside playhouse.
*Skidtastic - Jess and new friend Rhys, pull stunt skids on their bikes. Later, Rhys and Jonny have an intense argument.

Season Seven

Kirsty, Myford, Aaron and Jasmines 1st season.

*Big Brother 2007 - Housemates enter. Rhys falls off his bike and Jess gets a reminder.
*The Halloween Party - Flour in the face, a hilarious tig game and apple dunking makes all the school and street crew hyper.
*Home Alone - Jess and Sean chase Chris into a house, where pegs, yogurt, water, skates and electricity await the intruders.
*The Trek - After Becca falling in the beck and Jess losing her coat. A trek across the fields into pitch darkness follows.
*Skate Skate Skate - Kirsty, Becca and "Myford" go rollerskating, followed by a high swing and a game of dares.

Season Eight

This season is the first to have 8 episodes. Kristian returns. Three people from Seasons 1 and 2 make a small appearance in this season.

*Most Haunted - Becca aggrivates a spirit called "Margaret" whilst Tom and Sean are scared out of their wits at the bangs in the bedroom.
*The Prom- After a day at school, a rolls royce takes Myford, Sean and Jonny to the prom.
*Daredevil Drops - After a game of football, Rhys and Jess face a field of prickles and some horrendous drops into water and mud.
*Skating and Screaming- Two rounds of ice skating prove tricky for some, followed by a scream game and a old friend.
